Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a new roof cost in Chester-le-Street?
It depends on the size and pitch of your roof, the materials and how much needs replacing. There’s no fixed price, but we give clear written quotes after a free survey so you know exactly where you stand — and we’ll always tell you honestly whether a repair would do instead.
Do you do small repairs, or only full roofs?
Both. We do everything from a single slipped tile, a leak or a chimney flashing right up to a full re-roof. No job is too small, and we won’t upsell you to a replacement you don’t need.
How quickly can you come out for a leak?
For active leaks we prioritise getting out quickly to make the roof safe and watertight, then quote for the permanent fix. Call 01642 901293 or 07733 156632.
Are you insured and do you guarantee the work?
Yes to both — we’re fully insured and every job is backed by a workmanship guarantee.
Do you cover the villages around Chester-le-Street?
Yes — Pelton, Ouston, Great Lumley, Bournmoor and Waldridge are all well within our area. We handle repairs, re-roofs and roofline work across the lot.
How fast can you get to a leak in Chester-le-Street?
For active leaks we prioritise a quick visit to make it safe and watertight, then quote for the permanent repair.
