Lee started in roofing and groundworks over three decades ago, long before Roofs & Drives Ltd existed. Through those years he worked across the North East, built up a deep knowledge of the trade, and developed a reputation that followed him from job to job — not through advertising, but through the quality of the work.
After seeing how things could be done better, Lee decided to do exactly that. Roofs & Drives Ltd was founded with a straightforward purpose: offer a genuinely complete service — roofing, groundworks, and driveways — under one name, with one consistent standard, and no corners cut along the way.

Lee began his career on the tools, learning the fundamentals of roofing and groundwork from the ground up. A trade built on precision, patience, and getting the basics right every time.
